Jeep tours can be arranged to your specification as well, and can easily be combined with the other activities. We can arrange a half day, full day, or multi-day tour through the desert. The jeeps are a comfortable, fun way to see Wadi Rum. Our Jeeps are covered and in good condition, and your guide will stop for all the sights, hiking and climbing that you require.
The best way to experience Wadi Rum is to camp here overnight! You can choose to stay one night, two nights, or more- again, the choice is yours. During the day you can take a jeep or camel tour of wadi rum, hike, or go climbing/scrambling. I can put together a program the way you would like it. Our camp is situated in an ideal location to watch the sun set over the desert, and in the evenings after watching the sunset, we will prepare the traditional bedouin meal Zarb for you. A hole is dug in the sand and then hot embers are put on the bottom, then chicken, potatoes, onions, and zuchinni are placed on top in a container, and then it is all burried with sand, and burning embers placed on top. After a few hours of cooking we will serve you a meal that we hope you will not soon forget! The camping trips are all inclusive: water, all meals, tea breaks and evening accommodation which includes mattresses, blankets and tents. You can sleep in the Bedouin tents, or out under the canopy of stars each night.
There are many opportunities for hiking within Wadi Rum. You can hike to the top of the sand dunes, through beautiful canyons, to rock bridges, past ancient inscriptions and to many other beautiful places in the area. You can climb to the top of Mt. Um Ad Dami where you can see the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia and all the way to the Sinai. The hikes can be tailored to your ability, from easy to strenuous, and all are with a guide.
